Sometimes chickens can be quite persistant and have very strong instincts. One of the ladies in my coop hade a chick earlier this spring but perhaps she was disappointed on the outcome, because one month ago she parked on a pile of eggs and refused to leave. And one morning about a week ago I heard little tweets from under her. And this time the outcome was better: seven little chicks are now living in a special baby area in the coop. So let us wish for a long warm autumn.
